Created: 2011-10-31 2.1.5.1b: Minor corrections for 2.1.5.1 Auto-blocks:
- VS-TEN (A301) centering command was accidentally removed
- Realm 12 (A303) centering command was 'lopsided' (started, didn't stop)
Surf: skip tables setting was ignored
Surf/Edge: edge repeats were not getting the st value, so they all thought they were in regular surf
When 'must login to surf' is set, a cookie was generating an error (Surf/error_log). The error has been fixed. If you see an error_log file in the Surf folder, delete it AFTER loading this patch.
Cross-site Connecter:
- csallowout was mis-coded and only worked with same user id on all sites
- has been corrected: each site record NEEDS UserID of user at that site.
Surf/report:
- system default was used edges... now they are hard-removed
- typo (missing <td>) caused report table to have incorrect background
- the bodytable tag was not on the report page, although it is on most of the site
- -TEN sites: for hybrid/multi-interface sites, the reporting was loading default values
- system now loads actual values from the URL that was shown, making reporting more reliable.
Surf/interrupt:
- a typo meant all interrupt page settings were saved to regular, not the other surf types
- a related typo prevented manual surfing from loading the interrupt counts correct
Variable Manual Surf:
- There was a glitch if you enabled 'must login to surf' that prevented surfing
Offer Calc:
- The one-time-offer redirect now has configurable time. The default (0) is 5 seconds.
Group mailer (2):
- If you indicate HTML, the preview function will switch the text editor to our WYSIWYG editor
- Also, the display will change from 'preformatted' to a width-limited div, for readability
Logout page:
- if not already defined, a custom logout page (logout.php) has been added to your menu data (pagetable.dat):
- This will allow you to add text, and layout controls, to the logout function

Created: 2011-10-22 2.1.5.1 Skeleton+TrEx update bankmpinfo.php & related
- Mass pay was showing an error on 'line 45'... a text list was changed, glitching our mass-pay file builder
- Added optional 'threshold' which will auto-generate payout requests for user balances above that figure
- This is part of the "Recalc All user balances" function
- Recalc All user balances now obeys the 'starting user' field... it had been ignoring the value
Banner/MiniBanner testing page
- Now shows total file size in bytes near the top of the page
TrexTop (3rd frame)
- Forced in-body iframe to be scrolling="no" (getting rid of phantom scrollbar)
purchasing:
- Removed 'other info' field from the 'inside buy' mechanism, to simplify the couponing process for members.
- Cleaned up coupon form so there weren't any redundant coupon fields, which was causing confusion.
- core/purchaseview: corrected issue where IP address was blanked out if purchase/ipn record was manually re-saved
coupons:
- A typo ("%02.f" instead of "%0.2f") prevented coupon purchase from auto-processing.
variable manual:
- found issue where v-manual was not counting in progressive offers because of an omission in the third frame
progressive offers
- Added field parsing to the call for click-to-win displays (so block codes will work)
click to win offers:
- found issue where users could click an offer they hadn't seen.
- Now it will not work unless they have already won the previous offer.
normal offers:
- Added a timer-countdown field. This is a REAL timer... it must run down and reload before prizes are awarded.
new reports:
- Generates a list of users with sites who have surfed since a certain date
- Generate a daily activity list: #/signups, #/purchases, $/purchases, #/pages surfed, #/ref pages shown
- option to make this a graph
confirm page:
- Custom Content of page will show after form is filled in
logout page:
- add a logout.php to your menu system and you have control over the real estate of the page where users log out.
prize page:
- added option to look for "claimbutton." jpg/png/gif in images folder, and use that instead of "click here" if found
- (this is for the 'prizelinkhere' field)
approval:
- fast checker was pulling up pending sites even if user had deleted the record. This has been corrected.
private messages:
- A typo prevented mail to 'all' if the webmaster allowed it. (i.e.: we turned it off 'too hard'). The option is now working again.
skeleton: extern function
- Changed block loader so that it could handle dashes in the param passed to the external function
- Fixed issue (line 1487) where skeleton tried to load a framework related file without checking to see if the file existed
pricing/downline.php
- Page had been showing hidden downline purchase items.
Surf/memberalert.php
- Offer count no longer counting hidden offers in the 'member alert' page. Matching change made in the core controls version of the line builder.
[%joinform/joinform]
- Corrected problem that kicked out an error if turing was enabled for the signup form.
confirm page:
- Corrected issue where turing code was hidden on first page of form
- Corrected issue where Confirm/OTO's were not being shown to members under certain conditions
core controls/members view/searching
- Added ability to search by 'last login IP' address.
Expanded 'otherheaders' to handle up to 19 entries (1-19) instead of 9
Added 'externcall' to preskeleton, (extern/ format) to allow programming alteration of title & layout data before <head> tags are made
Changed 'confirm' to auto-import upgraded level values if "newuserlevel" is turned on
- This will only impact sites that had minimum surf on upgraded levels while also auto-upgrading a new user.
Ad rejection notice
- now adds graphic URL for banner/mini banner rejection notices
Corrected issue in URL Block/cleanup function
- System was converting domains that started ww to their extension: i.e.: wwsomesite.com became "com", which blocked out all sites in that domain
New, automated weekly system runs... includes giving credits when referral table runs
Error reporting:
- A bug was interfering with 'myhistory' links to a TEN for error reporting.
core/Edge block editing
- A title field (and file) has been added for edge blocks.
- Technically, the new editor (techfieldplus.php) could be a drop-in replacement for any techfield.php usage.
bug found in splash page rotator that caused improper referral in rotator mode
splash pages: added 2 new fields to exclude specific pages from either the rotator or the 'promote us' page.
Surf changes:
- Left Edge, Right Edge, xtra column are now working
- Copies of these changes are in the core control/surf layout previewer
- ** These changes have been made to auto, manual, hover, and v-manual; Paid-to will change in 2.1.5.2**
blocks on page-bodies
- Several cases generated a "custom block ### was blank" message inappropriately
- This was because we only pre-loaded blocks in the edge, not the page bodies (whoops!)
- We have re-worked the block loader to "double check" blank blocks, removing the error.
members/your info/general:
- When there is a surfed enough=no based on initial must surf, message in 'your info' was misleading
- There are now separate messages for minimum and monthly surf
When minimum surf was enabled, surf timers & credits were not copied to the user in 'auto upgrade' mode
- This has been corrected in the cron/function table, so it should work the same as regular, no-minimum confirmation
Pricing/paid-to:
- Data was missing or out-of-date, so we put in a simple text block for now.
- 2.1.5.2 or 2.1.5.3 will have major upgrades specifically for paid-to.
Tweaks:
- Re-checking to make sure MailQ and PurgeMail are in the cron/heartbeat list
core/manage members:
- Removed the option to sort members by balance if balance is chosen for the center column
- This was done because the query was too cpu intensive to be effective.
core/home:
- added dynamic link to bring up network segment in 1 click
Network segment: (for multi-site owners):
- Now shows #/ads to approve, #/complaints, #/contact forms, #/oddball ipn's, and #/payout request for each site in your approved network.
core/database work:
- Added 2 new tips to the database page
top lists/stats:
- added automation, so that top surfers, all time surfers and referral bonuses can be calculated automatically
- this runs invisibly off the 'offer reset' portion of the heartbeat

Created: 2011-07-18 2.1.4.1b Skeleton
- 2.1.4.1b repatch:
- There was an error in the 2.1.4.1 original release of the mailer: direct sends were not getting the body of the message to be sent, so users were getting messages with subject lines, but no bodies. This repatch corrected that.
- Reason for the '4': skeleton is now extendable
- block code: [%extern:filenameoffiel.php-processtocall-valuetopasstoprocess]
- This allows loading of external add-on php files, with function names, based on a block code. (value section is optional)
- Remember that [%file/filename] loads only from /Control/data/active
- We have added [%exfile/filename] that loads a file from root folder
- New block codes:
- cust/UsereMail - email address of referrer
- cust/UserFullName - Full name of referrer, even if there is a handle present
- date/(date format): displays curre nt server date/time using strtime formatting (length<2 is default: Y-m-d)
- Purchasing:
- Limited-time multi-month purchases were set to run for too long. (i.e.: 1x6 month purchase set up as evergreen, every 6 months.)
- Core:
- Now sporting 2.1.4.1, and supporting the newer block types
- Updated 'visor' (visualizer) to match 2.1.4.1 skeleton functions
- Contest issue:
- Most contests were NOT calculating surfing or referrals on the last date of the contest
- This was an error, and has been corrected in both cron/functiontable and in contest regen function
- Mail Queue:
- Corrected issue where manual send or resend cause the subject to not be included in the outgoing message
- Mail processor: added logic to allow >>>> and <<<< ** as long as the number of tag edges is even **
- Mail queue viewer: added indicator and <pre> logic when displaying non-html email
- Mail processor: added logic to handle line breaks/wraps in the middle of a tag
- Mail processor: moved general format conversion to above the 'send or display' logic... this way the preview is a more accurate representation of what is sent
- Mail processor: removed 'forced' wrapping in html mode
- Corrected issue where internal users were not being created.
- core/surf layouts
- Added option to change "Surfing" to other words in each surf type
- (truncates ending -ing for surf table link, if used)
- (auto-uppercases each word before presentation)
- Added editable zones to put html/block codes left or right of timerbanner (or both)
- core/Surf Data
- Corrected table display error that caused a 'notch' in lower-right part of page
- surfing:
- In surf tables (login and surf page), you can now hide column 2 (links) and/or column 3 (page counts)... this is in core/basic settings/naming conventions
- In report system, added logic to determine if a page on the list was a network page, and substitutes the network links for the local links on that line
- your info/general/change referrer
- There was a bug where picking 'founders line' selected 'free agent'
- This required an extra field (webmaster UID) be added to core controls/basic settings, so we know what user to set referrer TO
- Note: default is 3; if that user ID doesn't exist, viewing the your info/general page will RESET the referrer to 'free agent'
- members/purchase:
- In member levels, #/credit manual and hover per month were not showing correctly
- Fast Ad Checker
- Added user level to the timer-area line.
- core/Basic Settings/Exg Values:
- Ads/Surf: Added Radio button "no surf blocks ads" and "No ads blocks surf"
- Offers:
- Added checkbox to allow 'free members only' restriction to offers
- Added 'reset until' date to allow a self-resetting offer to shut down fully
- Private Mail:
- Added option under advanced/email tech to disable 'mail to all' in the PMB system
- Text blurbs
- Was not displaying history links if no CURRENT records are shown
- Core/Trex Net:
- Added links to KB, Feature table, and the webmaster's referral link to the trex net page.
- New issues added to ad rejection:
- Redirects to a different site
- Content (generic)
- Gambling site
- Send mail:
- Removed 'html+text', which was buggy
- Added 'skip queue' as option to send mail directly
- Extended this feature to join/resend confirm/resend password
- Manage way stations section:
- Changed wording that refered to a non-existant form.
- Site Table
- Added TENClears, a TEN block 'expiration date', which clears the block after the date has passed if the site is approved and active
- The reset occurs with the 'offerreset' cron job
- Third Frame
- Corrected issue where nesting/stacked progressive offers "crept" down the frame. A body tag setting needed to be added to stop the slide.
- Advanced
- Added a style sheet color settings construction page, to help make the process of re-coloring menus easier
- Core/Help
- Updated basicbodyfields to have all the [% main extensions listed
- Custom tweaks:
- Custom tweaks are checking the permissions interlock for new payment processors (after removing StormPay and adding Google Checkout, the numbering got messed up on some legacy systems).
- Custom tweaks are correcting $SiteName found on the policies, terms and privacy pages.

Created: 2011-06-17 2.1.3.1b Update (VS-TrEx and Skeleton) (patched)
Re-patch: 2.1.3.1b
This was an inline correction to 2.1.3.1
Changes with the inline patch:
- Purchase-processing system:
- A file involved in the automated processing of purchase notices (ipn processing) was damaged in the prior installation, meaning purchase notices were not getting processed in 2.1.3.1. That is the "real reason" for getting this update out quickly.
- public networks.php page
- Changed code so that any added text would show ABOVE the network participation text
- Changed network participation text to blank out if none of the 3 basic networks are enabled.
- purchase page
- Corrected issue where a multi-month record would not be shown, and a second copy of a subscription entry would appear
- Inconsistency corrected: PayPal subscriptions opened in the same page, where PayPal 1-shot purchased opened in a new page. Now all use a new page.
- surf layout
- Fixed typos in support text (&nsbp and reccommend)
- Pricing/membership levels
- Wrong level shown for owner line... hidden flag was ignored
2.1.3.1 original contents:
- main new feature: email system:
- Added 'html' option to email that appears to work
- Added 'html+text' option to email, but can't verify it is working (pretty sure it isn't)
- Added mail queue, to stagger email delivery, and allow the webmaster to see it before it is sent
- Messages can be sent early, or deleted, but can not (currently) be edited after creation
- Corrected issue where 'url' calls had the "Control/" folder appended to them inappropriately
- This was both in the body and footer processors
- core/List (member) images: delete function was not always using the correct extension of the image file to delete it
- members/mystatistics: removed error that displaed when variable manual was enabled, but no timer had been set
- offercalc: stacked progressive and click-to-win offers were recording incorrectly in TokensIn
- Now, like progressives, are recorded as type=7 (Surf reward)
- offers (members area):
- List was NOT showing progressive (non-stacked offers)
- List was NOT showing offers that ended on the current date (because of a time compare, instead of a date compare)
- List was NOT showing stacked progressive offers
- offers (core controls):
- Text description field gets flat editor if the offer is progressive/stacked progressive, so it's easier to enter url lists.
- member cleanup:
- 'no ads' option no longer removes internal users, or boss members, who have no ads.
- internal user generator:
- You can now specify a user to copy ads from when an internal user is generated. Name & password will still be unique.
- progressive offers:
- subsequent (stacked) offers were showing in a <table> tag, which changed the background color
- the table causing trouble has been removed, so that the stacked offers have the same color pallette as the starting offer
- prize pages:
- removed the <hr>, added a <br> around the 'base text' of offers for surf prize pages.
- surf rotation: found a bug where house ads (text) in the third frame cause the third frame to 'forget' who was surfing
- this caused trouble for surf ranking and for offers showing after the house ad had shown
- found issue where 'straight banners' had a border in i.e., and were hitting the edge.
- 3rd frame of surfing:
- System now allows third frame to display member alerts even if they are turned off for the surf type.
- Added 2 "break" statements to move the member alert into the third frame, instead of having it flush against the top.
- vs-network:
- Added frame name loaders to the realm12 section. Needed for realm12 interactions.
- siteinfoedit/siteinfochange:
- System was saving 'use local balance' and 'draw', or not, based on the users' level being >0 instead of based on the level setting.
- your info/general
- System was not always adding unassigned credits to the balance list
- Suggestion: Change the sotpay page to say Google Checkout... Solid Trust was removed, so conditional numbers for payment processors are off by 1.
- Splash Page customization system
- Added "Image" field to the table
- This can be called by [%cust/SiteImage] on a splash page.
- Basic Settings
- Changed "xOnManual" checkboxes in Exchange settings to drop-down lists, so exchanges could use any of the core 3 credit types
- Site approver:
- Added "User Level=#" text on the top line of the surf approver footer
- News/faq/adexchange.php
- Corrected flawed script text that prevented the page from displaying.
- Offers:
- Corrected bug when new user signed up, the system checked for offers on a free level, which sometimes generated an error message.
- Sales:
- Main list had an incorrect link to add a new sales record, so new records wouldn't save correctly
- Corrected issue where saving new sales record cause an additional blank record to display, instead of what was just saved
- Some purchase buttons (from otopurchaseblock) were being returned to an invalid page (Members/ instead of members/)
- mechanical change: purchase with payments=0 are 1-time. payments=1 is evergreen. all other payment #s are a limited # of monthly payments
- This works for paypal, moneybookers, and alertpay; solidtrust pay is 1 time or evergreen only.
- *** Note: there is a DIFFERENT Control/otopurchaseblock.php for resellers than standard skeleton sites, because of the different return folder names.
- Manage ads:
- Added asterisk to user id in the user column of manage ads to indicate internal user.
- Surf Layout:
- Added inline brief help suggestions in main table
- Expanded frame border field
- Added 'webmaster notepad' in column 1 of core controls
- URL Ctrl Fix
- New removes leading ww*. from domains in the url blockade, as well as http: and trailing garbage
- Reports
- Added 'users without credits', with option of which credits to track
- Promote Us/Banners
- Added a 'view all' mode if you have more than one banner to promote your site. This page shows all banner images together, which each image linking to the html details for that banner.
- New user level
- Added a feature in 2.1.2.4 that allowed users to join at a level>0
- This cause a bug where new users were always 'surfed enough', because the system thought they had upgraded to the level (bought stuff)
- This bug has been corrected
- core/quick site status
- Added indicators about the new scratch pad, and the current users' private message inbox count
