Your privacy is important, and we will do our best to protect it.
We will not share names, addresses, emails, or any other info with any third party. The only exception to this would be a government/law-enforcement agency with a subpoena.
We do not 'rent' a list, and we do not send third party advertisements to our membership.
What we collect:
When you come to this site, you may have had a referral link (something like ?ref=###).
If so, we will attempt to store a cookie on your browser, so that the appropriate refferrer gets credit for any purchase you make.
Also, we will store your IP address and browser-type, in case the cookie is removed.
Bottom line: We collect no personal info for just visiting our site
We collect info on our Affiliates
If you join our affiliate program, we will ask for a lot of information:
- You will be asked to provide a 'handle', which is publicly accessible
- Your name and email are kept completely confidential: Only VariSearch and VS-TrEx workers will see them
- Your payout method and information is strictly confidential
- For tax-reporting purposes, we may ask for your address and/or Tax ID number. These are optional until you hit certain income limits, then they are mandatory so we can send you a 1099 Form.
- Affiliates do agree to receive a periodic email from us, which will contain sales, coupons and/or feature announcements.
- Again, we do not share this information.
- At any time, you may request that we close your account. If you do so, we will completely purge your information from our online database within about a week.
We collect info on our Customers
If you license our software, we will collect most of the affiliate information above, since all customers are automatically 'preferred affiliates'.
- We will record the domain where your exchange exists, for support purposes.
- Unless you request privacy, your domain will also be listed on our current sites list.
- As a customer, your information can not be 'purged', but you can request that it be hidden from view, and we will respect that.
